Shipping & Returns
We currently do not ship overseas. Please contact us if you are purchasing from outside of Australia.
Customs and import duties for international buyers
Please be aware that Moonee Ponds Sewing are not responsible for any customs or import duties. These are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Postage/Shipping & Extra Insurance
All items will be sent through Australia Post. Postage/Shipping charges are based on Australia Post rates. Where applicable express post is available. Moonee Ponds Sewing reserves the right to modify the shipping method if the method chosen is not appropriate.
Shipping Rates
- Horn Cabinets and Flat Pack Cabinets carry a fixed shipping fee of $150.00
- Fully assembled Cabinets carry a fixed shipping fee of $250.00
- Free shipping for orders over $500.00 (apologies not applicable for Horn Furniture and Cabinets)
- Sewing Machines and Overlockers carry a shipping fee of $45.00
- All other orders are charged at $15.00 for express post
Extra insurance
Extra insurance costs for loss or damage are varying depending on the value of the item up to $5,000.00 and postage destination.
The cost of insurance for items with a value up to a certain amount are as follows:
- up to $100.00 – insurance is $1.50
- up to $200.00 – insurance is $3.00
- up to $300.00 – insurance is $4.50
- up to $400.00 – insurance is $6.00
- up to $500.00 – insurance is $7.50
- up to $600.00 – insurance is $9.00
- up to $700.00 – insurance is $10.50
- up to $800.00 – insurance is $12.00
- up to $900.00 – insurance is $13.50
- up to $1,000.00 – insurance is $15.00
- up to $3,000.00 – insurance is $45.00
- up to $5,000.00 insurance is $75.00 (please contact us to confirm price)
Delivery
Items will be posted within 3 business day of your payment being received. Deliveries will be made during standard business hours Monday to Friday. We will endeavour to contact you and inform you if there is a problem with your order.
Refunds
If an item is not suitable it may be returned on condition that it is unopened and in the original packaging. Any claims for refunds must be made within 48 hours of the delivery date. Please email [email protected]
The customer is responsible for all postage costs for items returned.
Once the item is received by Moonee Ponds Sewing a refund for the cost of the item (plus postage if incorrect or damaged item was sent) will be processed.
